Sustainable Energy Resources for Consumers (SERC) – Solar Hot Water Heaters (2011)

The presentation explains the key components of the solar thermal system including the different kinds of collectors, storage tanks, and piping.
Consumers are offered a checklist by the presentation of considerations they should take into account when making a solar thermal purchase, including site inspections, warranties, and price inquiries. Consumers should also use the field checklist to make sure their installation process was successful.
