This report was published on December 2009, parallel to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) summit taking place in Copenhagen, to bring authorities' attention to solar energy and the relevant contribution it can provide to reducing GHG emissions.

The document is a joint initiative of different solar trade associations and industry leaders in the world’s leading solar countries. Information provided ranges from the current installed capacity, the targets that different industry associations have set for solar installations, the policies needed to reach these targets, the expected number of jobs that will be created and the CO2 emissions reduction foreseen.
