Spaces are still available to participate in the seminar ‘*Solar thermal for hot water and space heating*’ taking place from the *08.11- 12.11.2010* at the Renewables Academy in Berlin Germany under "*TREE - Transfer Renewable Energy & Efficiency"* scholarship project .
The seminar offers lectures in the fundamentals of solar thermal energy, solar thermal system configuration, feasibility assessment, design and installations as well as the legal and financial aspect of solar thermal energy in order to achieve a better understanding of the correlation and interaction of these issues to design suitable political and legal frameworks for solar thermal energy.
Applications are currently being received and for it to be considered and the scholarship granted, the applicant must be a law maker in the government and/or parliamentary administration, working for financing institutions, law firms, NGOs or must be active in an industry association related to renewable energy and energy efficiency policies.
He or she must also be from one of the TREE target countries listed out here http://www.tree-project.de/concept/tree-target-countries/.
TREE is a *scholarship program of the German Government* on Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) designed and conducted by the Renewables Academy (RENAC) in Berlin and funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety within the International Climate Initiative.
The scholarship covers
· Participation in the 5-days long TREE-seminar in Berlin (incl.
materials, lunch, tea and coffee)
· Travel health insurance for the duration of the seminar.
· Participation in the TREE online-seminars
· Access to the international TREE community (TREE Intranet)
· Support by RENAC for organizing accommodation and travel visa
*Please note:* Travel and accommodation costs as well as visa costs are not included in the scholarship and must be funded individually.
