Milwaukee Solar Partnership (2012)

This brochure was created and published by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee. It provides information on the Milwaukee Solar Partnership, which brings together various government agencies and private industry to train the solar workforce.

The main groups that make up the Milwaukee Solar Partnership include the Milwaukee Community Service Corps, the Milwaukee Area Technical College, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and Johnson Controls. Together, they provide groups such as the long-term unemployed with training in soft-skills and job seeking first. From there, the candidates are provided with job training such as solar thermal installation, where they can be directly screened and recruited by employers.
