Colorado Solar Thermal Roadmap (2012)

This document presents a roadmap and strategy for developing the solar thermal market in Colorado and positioning the state as a leader in the research and development of solar thermal hot water heating technologies. It was developed by the Solar Thermal Alliance of Colorado.

According to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, solar thermal technologies perform better than any other state in the nation.

The Solar Thermal Alliance of Colorado seeks to exploit this unique position to expand the use of solar thermal technology for heating and cooling purposes in home through a mix of government incentives and consumer education efforts. As Colorado already has a developed technology sector, the Alliance also believes that initiatives to attract researchers and manufacturers could have a great impact on economic and job growth in the sector.
