The Solar Summit Freiburg 2011 is an International Conference on Highlights and Trends in Solar Energy. From 14 to 15 November 2011 it gives a comprehensive overview of latest achievements and state of the art of all major technologies of solar energy conversion. Solar Summits Freiburg is a series of international solar conferences, taking place for the fourth time in Freiburg, Germany. While the first set of conferences was each dedicated to a special topic, this year for the first time the Solar Summit covers recent achievements in all major topics of solar energy research, market and policies.

Top-class speakers of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and international experts will address a professional audience. The conference is hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE. The conference chairman, Dr. Hans-Martin Henning, deputy director of the Fraunhofer ISE, sets a high value on communication and networking possibilities during the conference. Following each lecture and of course during the breaks there will be sufficient time for queries and discussions among the experts and the audience.
