Beirut Energy Forum (BEF) is the largest event in Lebanon related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green buildings. BEF 2013 will be held on 26 and 27 September 2013 under the patronage of the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water H.E. Mr. Gebran Bassil. The event receives the support of the Ministry of Energy and Water, the League of Arab States (LAS), the European Union (EU), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Lebanon, the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL), the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), and the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut (OEA). In its third edition in 2012, Beirut Energy Forum welcomed more than 573 delegates from 15 countries, and featured more than 40 interventions from reputable speakers from Lebanon and the world. Beirut Energy Forum is organized by MCE GROUP for Congresses and Exhibition (MCE Group) in collaboration with “Le Salon des Energies Renouvelables de Paris”, the Ashrae Lebanon Chapter, the Lebanese Solar Energy Society, the Lebanon Green Building Council (LGBC), and the EU-funded projects MED-ENEC and MED-EMIP. The Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) is the strategic partner of the event.
