Beirut Energy Forum (BEF) is the largest event in Lebanon related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green buildings. Beirut Energy Forum 2012 will be held on 27 and 28 September 2012 under the patronage of the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water H.E. Mr. Gebran Bassil, and is supported by the League of Arab States, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the European Union, and the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut, in partnership with “Le Salon des Energies Renouvelables de Paris”, with the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) being the strategic partner.
Beirut Energy Forum is organized by MCE Group for Congresses and Exhibition and it includes a large exhibition area allowing direct interaction among decision makers, commercial companies, and professionals. The event is distinguished by a 2-day conference sessions with selected interventions and presentations from all over the world, including interventions by 2 internationally-renowned keynote speakers.
Beirut Energy Forum 2012 enjoys the support and cooperation of the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), the Lebanese Solar Energy Society (LSES), the Lebanon Green Building Council (LGBC), the Ashrae Lebanon Chapter, the EU-funded projects MED-EMIP and MED-ENEC II.
