Morocco Country Paper in the Field of Certification and Standardization of SWHs (2009)
Two representatives of the CDER (Moroccan Centre for the Development of Renewable Energies) gave a presentation during the Regional Workshop on SWH Certification and Standardization organised by RCREEE (Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency).
The presentation provided an overview of the certification and standardisation processes and authorities in Morocco. The local governments are trying to increase the use of the renewable energy sources. It is expected that 42% of electricity will be generated from renewable energy sources, from which 14% solar, by 2020
