The Thai Solar Thermal Industry Outlook (2007)

This document was produced by the Solar Thermal Association in Thailand. It provides a thorough overview of the Soltherm project. The Market Development Solar Thermal Applications in Thailand project (Soltherm Thailand) is funded by the EU-Thailand Economic Cooperation Small Project Facility (EU-SPF) and jointly implemented by the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), the International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE).

This presentation was given by Hans-Martin Henning from the Fraunhofer-Institut for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg, Germany, during the Renewable Energy Week in Brussels in 2007.

Mr Hans-Martin Henning explains with these slides solar cooling and air conditioning processes and technologies, examples of solar cooling usage (factories, conferece centers, hotels and wine stores), current status and outlook as well.

Solar Cooling in the German Funding Programme SOLARTHERMIE 2000plus (2008)

This paper presented during the Eurosun Conference in Lisbon in 2008 by Edo Wiemken and Alexander Morgenstern from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Freiburg, presents information on the status of the research for three solar cooling and air-conditioning demonstration plants using pure water as collector fluid in combination with vacuum tube collectors.
