Widening the Thermal Solar Energy Exploitation by the Successful Models (2011)
Running until 2012, “Widening the Thermal Solar Energy Exploitation by the Successful Models" (WidetheSee) is a project developed by 11 South-Eastern European countries and co-financed by the EU. It aims at promoting the usage of solar thermal technologies for domestic hot water appliances in the context of European policies concerning renewable energy sources and the reduction of fossil fuel dependence.
EuroSun 2012, Rijeka
The EuroSun 2012 will take place from 18 – 20 September 2012 in Rijeka, Croatia. EuroSun conferences are presented biannually by the International Solar Energy Society (ISES Europe) in different countries, and are among the most important scientific solar conferences, especially in the field of solar thermal technologies. Like EuroSun 2008 in Lisbon and EuroSun 2010 in Graz, EuroSun2012 will be an excellent platform for exchanging and discussing the latest R&D results, learning more about problems and their solutions, seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
