Solar Heating with Seasonal Storage Canadian Activities (2011)
This report was created by the Canadian energy research institute CanMET Energy. It is a case study of the Drake Landing Solar Community, and the solar thermal seasonal heat storage system that was tested there.
Solar Thermal Radiant Floor Heating (2010)
This brochure provides information on the use of solar thermal radiant floor heating systems in remote areas where the cost of fuel transportation is prohibitive. It was created by the National Defense Center for Energy and Environment.
Solar Thermal Technology Research and Development (2010)
This is a presentation from Dr Ashvini Kumar, Director of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of India.
It provides an overview about main market applications of solar thermal energy: solar heating, solar cooking, cooling, drying, industrial process heat, etc. The presentation also touches upon issues such as R&D policies and the main pillars of the Indian government’ strategy on this regard.
Lastly the presentation refers some projects involving these technologies which are under implementation in Bombay, Bangalore, Udaipur and New Delhi.

The EU RES-Directive: Policy Framework and Potential for Solar Cooling in Europe
This presentation was made at the EU Sustainable Energy Week in February 2009.
It outlines the impact of the EU's Renewable Energy Directive on the solar thermal sector, and specifically solar cooling.
The compulsory national targets for renewables as well as the obligations for new and existing buildings are seen as strong drivers for the sector, however there is much responsibilty resting with the national authorities for sound implementation of the Directive.
