This paper looks into the possible applications of CSP on the coastal areas of the mediterranean region. Starting with providing a short overview on the available CSP technologies, the document also looks into what the potential and market perspectives are for this technology.
Particular attention is given to the mediterranean area to underline the importance of this region for the development of CSP applications. The document concludes with listing some examples of solar heat for industrial applications (a pharmaceutical factory in Egypt) and tourist resorts (hotel in Turkey).
