Solar Thermal Evaluations Program Opportunity Notice (2007)

Submitted by Todd Costello on Fri, 09/25/2009 - 15:40.

This notice was written by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) in 2007. The purpose of this document was to invite proposals to evaluate solar thermal technologies for residential and nonresidential buildings. Proposed projects should be innovative and seek to provide performance and economics data for these technologies, and it the projects are divided into three categories: Monitored Demonstrations, Solar Domestic Hot Water Technologies Assessment, and Technology Feasibility Study.

Awards are given out to the winning projects for each of the three categories, and this document contains all the necessary information for proposers to submit a project. It gives examples of the technology they are seeking (but are not limited to) and a proposal check list for anybody interested.
