Austrian construction firm Wacker Neuson AG has entered industrial production of OEM collectors. In June 2007, chairman of the supervisory board, Hans Neunteufel, founded Sunwin Energy Systems as an independent company based in Pasching near Linz, Austria. The current executive director of this startup company is sales director Klaus Fürlinger, who left Austrian competitor Sunmaster to join Sunwin. "We purchase absorbers from Prime Laser Tech of Greece and use them to make in-roof wooden frame collectors", Fürlinger reports. "In the long term, we also plan to manufacture our own laser-welded aluminium absorbers." The product range also includes third-party aluminium tray collectors. The prototype of the collector with a plastic tray to be made in-house was, however, already exhibited at Intersolar. Sunwin is looking for OEM customers at home and abroad with its sales staff of six. www.sunwin-energy.com Photo description
