  • QualiCert Report: Assessment of Existing Accreditation and Training Schemes (2010)-

  • Trainenergy Project. Module 9. Renewable Energy Systems (2011)-

The Trainenergy project ran from September 2009 to September 2011, with the objective to produce a training programme about the EU Energy Performance of Building and the Energy End-Use Efficiency and Energy Services Directives for tradesmen in the construction industry. The project was run in Ireland, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Denmark. This module presents the best renewable sources that offer heating at virtually zero carbon emissions, solar water heating being the first technology to be assessed.

  • Solar Thermal Energy Scope in Chile (2009)-

Rubén Muñoz Bustos, from the Chilean National Energy Commission, prepared this presentation for a training workshop on solar heating and cooling, which took place in July 2009 in Santiago, Chile. The training workshop, organized by different local entities in co-operation with the Spanish Association ASIT and the Spanish Institute IDEA, was addressed mainly to technical staff from public governmental bodies and focused on boosting the use of solar thermal applications in the country.

  • Solar Energy for Heating Water in Urban Areas of Egypt (2003)-

This document provides an overview of a project financed under UN GEF Small Grants Programme to boost the use of solar thermal water heating in remote areas of Egypt. The project resulted on the installation of 164 water heaters, reaching 3,790 people, in poor villages and neighborhoods surrounding El Menia, a city in Upper Egypt.
