Incentive Measures for Promoting Solar Water Heating Systems in Taiwan

The national subsidy scheme in Taiwan is in place since 2009, however the level of subsidise changes regularly and depends now on the  type of solar collector and the location where the collector is installed. A residential homeowner receives between 1,500 and 4,500 New Taiwan Dollar (NTD) per m² (approximately 40 to 120 EUR/m2) .

  • on the remote islands, the amount for all types of collectors is doubled
